By Car

From Rte. 128
Take Rte. 2 East toward Arlington/Cambridge. Take Lake Street, Arlington Exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Lake Street and go to the very end. Turn left, onto Mass. Ave. Artbeat is on your left, in the same block as the Capitol Theater.

From Boston, Brookline, Newton
Take Soldiers Field Road toward Arlington and Rt. 16. Pass Fresh Pond Shopping Center, then Alewife T Stop. Get on Rt. 2 West. Take the first exit, Lake St., bearing right onto Lake St. at the end of the exit ramp. Go to the end of Lake St. Turn left onto Mass. Ave. Artbeat is on your left.

Public Transportation (MBTA)
Take the Red Line to Harvard Square.

From Harvard Square Station, take bus #77, Arlington Heights bus, which runs about every ten minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends. The bus travels on Mass. Ave. through North Cambridge and into Arlington. About 1/2 mile into Arlington, look for Artbeat on the left in the same block as the Capitol Theater.

Directions - Driving

Take Rt 495 to Exit 17, RT 140 toward Franklin. As you pass Dean College on
the left and an historic cemetery on your right, you are approaching
Franklin’s downtown. Watch for two terrific restaurants on your right as you
continue going straight: Rick’s and then Rome. Go through the traffic light,
then take the next right onto Summer Street (gas station on the corner).
ARTBEAT is on the right at 9 Summer St. To park, go past the building and
turn right into the rear parking lot.

To get to Artbeat from the parking lot, either:

1. Walk up the flight of cement stairs at the rear left of the building.
Pass Pretty is Pink and Salon Natalia

2. Enter the rear of the building through the handicap entrance next
to the garage. Walk through the garage and take the elevator to the first
floor lobby. Exit on your right to Summer St and walk around to your left to
reach ARTBEAT’s main entrance. Alternate entrance in bad weather: instead of
exiting to Summer Street go through the door on your left and you’ll see
ARTBEAT’s rear entrance (may be locked).

Directions - Commuter Rail

Take the Commuter Rail (purple line) from South Station to Franklin's Depot
Street Station. Go up to street level, turn left and walk onto East
Central. You'll see Summer Street across the way (gas station on corner).
Cross and walk down Summer St to ARTBEAT.
